MONROE STREET FRAMING
Monroe Street Framing came to us looking for a design for their entryway. It had been a long time since they’d made any aesthetic changes and wanted something a little more vibrant in the space as customers entered and exited. The design of the exterior awning draws inspiration from classic Frank Lloyd Wright lines and we tried to create a colorful space that pays homage to that. The combination boxes, circles, a color palette of industrial primaries and hand lettering mimics the structured nature of designing and building frames as well as providing a colorful path for customers coming and going.
There was a lot of measuring before painting began.
This mural was a good test for a steady hand.
