I WISH YOU LOVE
The third mural focusing on positive messaging during the pandemic, our I WISH YOU LOVE wall is located on the side of one of our favorite local shops, Strictly Discs. Inspired by the music theme, we decided to do a tribute to the late John Prine, the beloved singer-songwriter who passed shortly before we painted this mural. Focusing on the word LOVE, the phrase gave us a good opportunity to showcase our typography chops, with a fun mix of lettering styles and some deep drop shadows.
To avoid painting directly on the bricks, we installed boards directly into the masonry.
